"Cape Disappointment"
Hand painted original art. Measures 23inches by 36inches and 1 inch deep. 
Inspired by our own local Cape Disappointment on the Washington State coast where many ships find trouble while navigating the strong currents, winds, and waves at the mouth of the Columbia River. The waters there have claimed over 2,000 vessels, and a lighthouse was built there in 1856 that helped to greatly reduce the number of shipwrecks. It is a beautifully wild place to visit and I thought it would be the perfect moonlit setting for this particular painting.
